Brain Farm went to Mexico last fall with the Quiksilver team to capture some ridiculous shots for the new Cypher Board Short TV and web ad campaign. Dane Reynolds, Kelly Slater, Julian Wilson, and Jeremy Flores were the pros we had the pleasure of working with. For the shoot, we developed the first ever untethered water housing for our Phantom HD Gold that allowed us to get in the water and capture surfing like it has never been seen before. We also shot with the Varicam 3700 that captured some really nice footage. We did all the post production including for each spot custom sound scores, motion graphics, and sound design in the Brain Farm Studio. The campaign is live with the first spot being the 60 second Kelly Slater. Keep an eye out for more on Surfline, Fuel TV, MTV and around the world…

Curt Morgan shot all the aerial coverage of Shaun White and Red Bull’s new “Project X”. The aerial cinematography was all done with the Cineflex HD camera system. Check out the teaser…..
Brain Farm went down to Salt Lake City for a shoot with the guys from Nitro Circus and Godfrey Entertainment. Our mission was to get them amazing slow motion footage with the Phantom HD Gold and some crazy follow cam with our Cineflex HD V14 on the Cinema Truck for their new film. Chad Reed, the 2009 AMA National Motocross Champion, came in for a day of pyrotechnics, whoops and tailwhips. We got some insane high frame rate shots that are going to be in their new Nitro Circus film coming out in November. There was a little carnage and some backflip contests with happy little endings. Check it on MTV Nitro Circus and in the new movie.
Jackson Hole Mountain Resort gave us access to the new tram for little experimentation. We built a custom mount for our Cineflex to hang off the bottom of the tram. This was another great extension of our Cineflex HD system, allowing us to capture perfectly stable footage of Teton Village and the mountain in a new light. The possibilities with the Cineflex system are endless. We are ready to get it going this winter! Check out the video.
