We own and operate the new Phantom HD Gold high-speed camera system. The Phantom HD shoots ultra slow motion with 35mm depth of field either at HD or 2K resolutions. It is the ultimate specialty camera for capturing rapidly moving action and slowing it way down to give an innovative new look to any project. It allows you to select any frame rate from 1 to 1,052 fps in increments of one frame per second at full 1080p HD resolution. With the Phantom's shutter, variable to 1/500,000 second, and adjustable framing rates, you have seamless control of the duration, speed and time of a story piece.
The Gold model, is the latest of the Phantom HD models, with advancements in overall image quality, more stable blacks and more flexible digital video outputs, among several other improvements. In the past when you wanted to shoot ultra high-speed digital images you would have to have a large power source and be hooked up to a laptop. We have one of the only systems in the world that lets the operator “run and gun” without any limitations and opening up many new imaging possibilities. Once you are done shooting you can either enter a software based post process or simply dump the images right to our Sony SRW-1 field recorder and keep on shooting

Underwater Housing::.
Brain Farm has developed one of the first ever Phantom under water housings. Built to be as low profile and easy for movement as possible, the water housing is great for any shoot that is partially in water including wildlife monitoring, surfing, and more. It is also rated for under water use up to 40 feet depending on light.
Phantom CineMag 256GB::.
The Phantom CineMag is hot-swappable, non-volatile memory for the Phantom Digital Cinema camera with 256GB of memory. Record directly into a CineMag at speeds up to 450 fps at 2048x1080. At higher speeds, record into camera RAM and “upload” to the CineMag in seconds.
Phantom Breakout Box::.
The Breakout Box provides two each of 12-volt and 24-volt accessory ports. This allows 12-volt power supplies and batteries to be used with the Phantom (up-converted to the camera’s 24-volt spec), as well as zoom/focus motors, on-board monitors and other accessories. It also simplifies the run/stop interface of the camera by splitting off the trigger signal from the capture signals (timecode, sync, strobe, etc.) This allows the use of a simple BNC trigger switch. The hot swappable 12-volt inputs (one XLR4 and one Fischer 2-pin 103 series connector) enable you to switch out a battery without the need to shut down and restart the camera, saving the time required to “boot up” the camera system.
